Client account
An outcome every day. A surplus is not a clear day.
You answer for the client account, and you are the one the auditor asks. Each day Levano writes the outcome down: whether the bank covers what the clients are owed, whether anyone is in minus, and whether the day could be checked at all.

The daily control
Five outcomes. One of them is clear.
Covered, surplus, shortfall, not checked, or a negative client balance. A surplus is the firm's own money, or a deposit nobody has allocated, and it does not count as a day in order. A difference of at most 1,00 kr is rounding and still counts as covered. The control corrects nothing. It writes the day down.
- A client in minus beats a total that adds up
- A partial bank figure stands as not checked
- Running the same day again does not change the row
The bank
The balance is fetched. It is not guessed.
The control runs at 7.20, after the balance has been fetched from the connected bank through Yapily. If the balance cannot be read, the day did not pass. It was not checked. A day that has passed cannot be measured afterwards, so a missing day is written as not checked, not with today's figures under yesterday's date. A client bank account hidden from the overview still counts.
- PSD2 account data, used for the reconciliation
- No bank, no clear outcome
- Hidden client bank accounts stay in the day's figures
The client-account declaration
The basis in one zip. Not the filing.
Once a year you file the client-account declaration. Levano gathers the basis: a PDF cover and six CSV files with the client specification, the reconciliation, the movements, the daily controls, the bank accounts and the deviations. The package is not the declaration, and Levano does not file it. You do. If an expected document is missing, it is named on the cover, and the package can still be downloaded.
- Each file has a SHA-256 in the contents list
- A new edition does not replace the old one
- The filing can be recorded afterwards, with the receipt

The archive
The sheet stays, as the day was.
The day's control is written once and filed as a sheet the auditor can read without logging in. On the 1st of the month a draft reconciliation is prepared. It is a calculation. A lawyer reconciles it, and a period that has been reconciled is left alone. If the sheet showed a shortfall, the shortfall stays. A correction is a new document.
From deposit to declaration
Controls, not a tick.
Book it to the client
Money in is booked to the client. Money out needs a ground: back to the client, on after the client's instruction, set-off against a booked claim, a move to another client bank account, or correction of an error. The balance cannot go below zero. Where the firm has the accounts, the movement becomes two lines: client bank and client liability.
Let the day have an outcome
At 7.20 the bank is compared with what clients are owed. A surplus, a shortfall, a day that could not be read, and a client in minus each become something to look at. The control does not clear the error.
See who holds the money
The section 38 b roster reads the balance on the pooled client account. A client with money is on it, even when nobody noted an expected deposit. The package for the bank is built from that, one bank at a time. Levano does not send it. You do, through the bank's own channel.
Download the basis for the year
The zip gathers the six data sets and the cover. It is the basis you and the auditor work from. You file the declaration yourself, and the filing can be recorded afterwards.

A day when the bank holds more than the clients are owed is not a day in order.
