How long does it take to switch from our current system?
Our team runs the migration over a weekend, and you start Monday morning in Levano. Matters, parties, documents and notes come along, and so do templates and standard phrases.
Does Levano support bar association requirements?
Levano is built with bar association ethics rules and GDPR at its core, and all data resides in the EU. We build to ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 but are not certified in them, and responsibility for the rules stays with the firm.
Where is our data stored?
Operations and the database run with Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Documents and backups sit encrypted in Amazon S3 in Stockholm. Everything stays in the EU, and the database is backed up every night, with copies going back two years.
What does Levano cost?
Pricing is set together with you based on your firm's size and needs. Book a demo and we will have a concrete conversation about setup and pricing for your firm.
What can Levano do on its own?
Prepare and propose. Levano reads the post, finds the deadline and writes the draft, but anything it wants to create, send or invoice waits for a yes from one of you. It can never do more than the user it works for, and the firm has a monthly budget and an off switch.
Can Levano make mistakes, and what then?
Yes. Like any legal adviser, Levano can be wrong. That is why it always shows its sources, and it suggests rather than decides. It does not replace the lawyer's judgment, it lightens the load.
Should we cancel our separate legal research subscription?
That is your call. Levano's legal research covers legislation, case law and legislative history through official legal databases and curated sources, so one system can replace a CRM plus a separate research subscription.
What happens to our existing documents and matters?
They move with you. Levano imports from most practice management systems, and your documents live where they always did, just inside Levano. OCR runs on anything that is not already searchable.
