Life at Levano
What it’s like at Levano.
We've built a culture without bullshit. Direct, honest and focused. Here's what it looks like day to day, from the morning standup to leaving at 4pm on Friday.
At the office
An ambitious startup. Built together.
The best things happen when we're in the same room. That's why we're at the office together, every day. It's how we build fast, learn from each other and keep the bar high.
- At the office every day
- We work together at the office, not scattered to the wind.
- Aarhus and Copenhagen
- Two offices. Pick the one that suits you, and be there with the team.
- Face to face
- Standup, demo days and fast decisions without an endless Slack thread.
- High tempo
- We're going somewhere. That takes presence, energy and people who want in.
Values
Five things we actually mean.
We get to the point
Meetings are short. Decisions are made on data, not politics. We say what we mean, even when it's uncomfortable.
Technical excellence isn't negotiable
We take engineering seriously. Code review is mandatory. Tests get written. We do it right from the start.
The client is the compass
Tobias is still a lawyer and uses the product every day. We build what he needs, not what we think is clever.
Honesty by default
We talk openly about direction and priorities, and honestly about what isn't working, before it becomes a problem. Pay included.
Many tools, one focus
We've built a lot inside NextLab Ventures. Levano is the focus now. We prioritise hard and do fewer things better.
The everyday
An ordinary week.
- Morning
9:00 standup, 15 minutes. The rest of the day is yours to go deep.
- Lunch
We eat together Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Other days are free.
- Wednesday
Demo day. One team shows what they've built. The rest listen and dig in.
- Friday
We close at 4pm. We believe in going home, not staying late for show.
What we offer
Proper terms.
Competitive pay and a setup that lets you do good work without burning out. We have an open conversation about pay when we make an offer.
On top of salary
- Pension and health insurance
- Conferences and professional development
- Lunch at the office
The setup
- Offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen
- Freedom to plan your own day
- We close at 4pm on Fridays
Diversity
We’re not perfect, but we mean it.
We want to build a team with different perspectives, and we try to keep our hiring fair and considered. We're not there yet, but we're working on it.

We're not the biggest team. We're not the richest startup. But we have one of the most interesting products in one of the most under-digitised segments. If you want to build something that works, and actually changes how people work, Levano is probably a good place for you.
