Purpose

This policy describes how you may use Levano. It applies to everyone who accesses our CRM, whether you are a customer, a user at a customer, or a guest with temporary access.

This policy is a supplement to our terms and conditionsand should be read together with them. In case of conflict, the terms and conditions take precedence.

Permitted use

Levano is built for ordinary legal practice. You may use it to:

  • create and manage matters, clients and contacts,
  • record time, prepare and send invoices,
  • store and share documents within your firm,
  • use the AI features to support your day-to-day work.

You are welcome to use the system intensively in your normal operations. That is exactly what it is designed for.

Prohibited use

Some things you may never do with Levano. You may not:

  • store, share or distribute unlawful content or content you have no right to,
  • use the system for harassment, fraud, money laundering or other unlawful activity,
  • attempt to bypass security, access controls or the separation between firms,
  • share, rent out or resell your access to anyone outside your agreement,
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy parts of the system,
  • overload the system with scraping, scripts or automated traffic.

This list is not exhaustive. If something clearly harms the system, other users or us, it is not allowed either.

Responsibility for content and users

As a customer, you are responsible for the users you grant access and for the material uploaded into your environment. This applies regardless of who at the firm actually did it.

You must ensure that your users know this policy, that they only have the access they need, and that access is removed when an employee leaves. You warrant that you have the right to process the material you upload.

Fair use of AI

The AI features in Levano are meant to support the work of an individual lawyer, not to power bulk processing. To keep the service fast and stable for everyone, a few rules apply:

  • Usage may be subject to reasonable token and quota limits per subscription.
  • You may not run automated bulk processing or send artificially high traffic at the AI features.
  • You may not use the features in a way that breaches the terms of our sub-processor Anthropic.

If your needs go beyond the ordinary, reach out to us. We are happy to find a setup that fits your volume.

Enforcement

If we believe this policy has been breached, we respond in proportion to how serious it is. In most cases we start with a warning and a deadline to put things right.

For severe or repeated breaches we may suspend access or, as a last resort, terminate the agreement. If there is an acute security risk, we may act immediately and inform you afterwards.

Reporting abuse

If you spot abuse, a vulnerability or anything that looks wrong, we want to hear about it right away. Write to contact@levano.iowith a short description and we will look into it as quickly as possible.

You are never bothering us by reporting something. We treat reports confidentially and get back to you as soon as we know more.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our service changes, or when the law requires it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. For material changes we give you notice in good time before they take effect.

Seen something?

Report abuse to our security team

If you are unsure what is allowed, or want to report something you have seen, we'd be glad to hear from you. We usually reply within two business days.
