Does Levano meet bar association requirements?

Yes. Levano is built with bar association ethics rules and GDPR at its core. We are certified to ISO 27001 and ISO 42001, continuously monitored via Vanta, and all data resides in the EU.

Where is our data stored?

On servers in Germany, with Hetzner. No US sub-processors in the data layer. Hourly backups, 90-day retention.

What does Levano cost?

We are getting ready to open, and pricing is set together with you based on your firm's size and needs. Join the waitlist and we will have a concrete conversation about setup and pricing for your firm.

Can Levano make mistakes, and what then?

Yes. Like any legal adviser, Levano can be wrong. That is why it always shows its sources, and it suggests rather than decides. It does not replace the lawyer's judgment, it lightens the load.

Should we cancel our separate legal research subscription?

That is your call, but most firms do. Levano's legal research covers legislation, case law and legislative history through official legal databases and curated sources, which typically makes a separate research subscription redundant.

What happens to our existing documents and matters?

They move with you. Levano imports from most practice management systems, and your documents live where they always did, just inside Levano. OCR runs on anything that is not already searchable.
